Expiring Bonuses With Keap – The Easy Way

So, you want to offer a bonus to everyone who signs up before a specific date?

But, you don’t want to have to remember to edit your Keap campaign and your offer page when that date comes?

No worries!  Here’s the easy way to do it.

P.S. Sorry the audio is terrible.  I didn’t realize until afterwards that the wrong mic was selected.  And, I’m too lazy to go re-record it. 😉

Download The Elementor Add-On

If you use the Elementor page builder, download the "Show When" add-on we created for the IKON 2020 website. It's free and it works great.

Here’s how to set up your expiring offers using Keap:

  1. Use our “Show When” Elementor add-on to set the dates for elements on your page to “expire”.  Or use a paid add-on, Divi, or any other page builder that has that functionality.
  2. Create a custom date/time field in your Keap account on the contact record.  This date field will be used to set the expiration date for your offer.
  3. In your campaign, immediately following the purchase or optin, use the “Set Field” snippet to overwrite the date in the custom date field you created.  Check the box to set that date for the time they reach that point in the sequence (the time of optin).
  4. Following that sequence, create two sequences: one which delivers the main offer and the other which delivers the bonuses.
  5. Configure the decision diamond to only allow customers to enter the bonus sequence if the date in the custom field is before the expiration date that you’ve set.

Follow those steps and you’ll be able to run worry free bonus offers.
