As a Sales Representative at Box Out Marketing you will be responsible for one of the most important roles in the company. We have a mission to help 10,000 small businesses get results from marketing automation. That can’t happen without us talking to small business owners and helping them understand what’s possible through good marketing strategy and implementation. That’s the sales role – help entrepreneurs who are a good fit make educated decisions about how they’re going to leverage marketing automation to grow their business and find freedom.
This role requires dedication and the ability to maintain a positive mental attitude all day, every day, no matter what. This role requires someone who is willing to put in the time and effort to find people who are a good fit by handling incoming inquiries, digging into our extensive database, and calling and emailing contacts. It’s not a role for someone who has trouble being motivated and working hard on their own, but it’s very rewarding for someone who wants to put in the time and effort required.
Your “Big 3” metrics that your performance will be measured by are:
- New Factory Customers Sold (of course)
- The minimum requirement is to sell 4-5 new customers each month into our Factory service. Sales reps who excel should be able to sell 10-20+ new customers each month.
- Time To First Contact
- It’s imperative that new inquiries are responded to the same day they come in, preferably within minutes. The amount of time it takes sales reps to respond to new inquiries is tracked and reported to ensure we respond to new potential customers right when they are interested in talking to us.
- Number of Outbound Calls
- We have an extensive database of contacts who have requested information from us, are current customers of our membership, or even past customers and clients. Sales reps are required to make at a minimum of 20 outbound calls to this list each day.
In addition to tracking and reporting on those metrics, you’ll be responsible for being logged into our website chat service during the work day (8am to 5pm) to handle all incoming chat requests.
Sales reps are compensated with a generous commissions for each new customer sold into our Factory service. There is no cap to the commissions. Total compensation for excellent, full-time sales reps can exceed $100,000 annually.
